Hammerson has appointed Adam Metz as a non-executive director.  He will also join the company’s investment and disposal committee and nomination committee.

The appointment will begin with immediate effect.

Metz was previously managing director and head of international real estate at Carlyle Group.  He has also worked as chief executive of General Growth Properties and president of Urban Shopping Centres.
