The health food retailer Holland & Barrett is to launch a new TV and print advertising campaign this week to promote its range of ethical beauty products

The £360,000 advertising campaign created by RKCR/Y&R will focus on the latest anti-ageing beauty trend Snail Gel which is ethically sourced from the slime of snails.

To support the TV campaign for the product, which hit shelves earlier this year, the retailer will be placing a range of adverts in the national press and high end women’s magazines. The promotion will also be included in-store as point of sale material with celebrity and TV presenter Ashley Roberts advertising the product.

Lysa Hardy, chief marketing officer at Holland & Barrett’s parent company NBTY Europe, said, “It’s really exciting to launch our first ever campaign which specifically highlights our extensive ethical beauty offering.
