SpiceJet, the Indian airline which is struggling under $314 million (£200 million) in debts has had all of its flights grounded after oil companies refused to refuel any of its planes, according to reports.
Civil aviation authorities have given SpiceJet, which is the country’s fourth-biggest airline by market share, an extended deadline to pay state-owned oil companies in an effort to avoid a collapse.
