A poll of economists by the BBC has said that interest rates in the UK are unlikely to rise from their current rate of 0.5% this year.
The poll said that 93% of the economists thought that rates would remain stable until at least the end of 2014, with over half saying that the first rise was likely to be seen in the second half of 2015.
