Jaguar is set to put one thousand staff members in the west midlands on three day weeks.

Ralf Speth, CEO of Jaguar Land Rover, said that tens of thousands of jobs in the UK will be at risk if a no deal Brexit goes ahead.

He said that he is unsure whether or not his plants will be able to operate after the 29th March 2019 due to the uncertainty around the Brexit deal, and added that any interruptions to production could cost up to £60 million a day.

The Jaguar Land Rover Group have also said that a bad Brexit deal could cost them more than £1.2 Billion in profit each year.
