West Ham chief executive officer Karren Brady is to take the role of head of Taveta following the news that Anthony Grabiner had stepped down with immediate effect. The firm currently owns the Arcadia Group, which in turn owns fashion chains including Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge and Dorothy Perkins. Speaking on her appointment, Brady said “it is a privilege to have been invited to chair the board and I look forward to working with my colleagues as we concentrate on driving the Arcadia brands forward on their global expansion.”
