The UK’s biggest gym operator, Pure Gym has bought rival chain, LA Fitness.
LA Fitness, who has 43 clubs around the London and South East England area, will be joining Pure Gym’s 91 clubs.
The doors first opened in November 2009 in Leeds and Manchester and since then Pure Gym has grown massively.
Last year Pure Gym tried to join forces with discount club, The Gym Group, however the deal was a non-starter as it got blocked by the competition regulator.
