Fast foot group McDonald’s has said that it may raise its wages in the coming months as public scrutiny mounts over the issue. However, it warned that the move will hit its profit margins if it cannot cover the cost by increasing prices.
The announcement follows months of strikes at various fast food chains in the US over wages.
