Online fashion retailer Missguided will be expanding its headquarters in Trafford Park, Manchester.
The move comes as the company has hired 100 new staff, bringing its total to 320. The 45,000 sq. ft, 4-storey building will be facing Manchester’s Media City.
The new headquarters includes a selfie tunnel, a coffee shop, swings and arcade games on the ground floor for staff, a ‘floating’ meeting room, an all-pink meeting room and a space big enough for an in-house studio to shoot photos and video footage.
Nitin Passi founded the company in 2009, still owns it today with no debts, and has reported that the company won’t be following the likes of Asos and Boohoo by floating.
Commenting, Mr. Passi said: “Our new headquarters are a true embodiment of our brand and reflect both the culture and spirit of Missguided,” adding “When I found this building I was keen to ensure that there would be dedicated areas throughout that didn’t fit the mould of a traditional office set up. Our ambition was to provide an inspirational and timeless working environment where teams could enjoy themselves and feel at their most creative and I think we’ve achieved that with this office. I’m confident that it will be a great home for us for many years to come.”
