An employee of supermarket chain Morrisons has been held by police after the payroll data of approximately 100,000 staff members, including bank account details were published online last week. A disc containing the data was also sent to the Telegraph & Argus newspaper in Morrisons’ hometown of Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police has been investigating the alleged theft.
