Luxury goods firm Mulberry has appointed the former chief executive of Lanvin, Thierry Andretta, as a non-executive director.

Prior to Lanvin, Mr Andretta held various senior executive positions at Moschino, Fashion Box, Replay USA, Belfe, the Gucci Group, LVMH Fashion Group, Céline and Emanuel Ungaro. He is currently CEO of Italian luxury jewellery brand Buccellati.

Godfrey Davis, executive chairman of Mulberry, said: "I would like to welcome Thierry to the Board and we look forward to working with him as we continue to build Mulberry into a global luxury brand. Thierry brings with him a wealth of luxury brand experience and I am confident that he will make a valuable contribution to the company."
