Apple is set to launch the latest iPhone model later today, likely to be called the iPhone 5S, amid growing pressure to stave off competition from rival Samsung.
There are rumours that the new phone will feature a fingerprint sensor for unlocking the phone or making payments from iTunes. It is also anticipated that Apple will introduce a new, cheaper model aimed at the developing markets such as India and China.
If Apple follows the pattern of previous ‘S’ model launches, the new device will feature the same shell as the original model and will be on sale later in the year.
