Victoria's Secret is to open a new 11,000 square foot store at Intu Lakeside.
The lingerie store is due to open in time for Christmas trade and will be situated on the shopping centre's upper mall, together with toTag Heuer, Hamleys, MAC, Goldsmiths Boutique, Hugo Boss and the newly-opened Kurt Geiger shop.
Regional director of Intu, Julian Wilkinson said, “With 70% of customers being female and with a keen eye for fashion, we’re confident that an aspirational lingerie brand like Victoria’s Secret will flourish.”
As well as developing their retail offer, Intu has attained permission for a £100 million leisure development at Lakeside which will include an array of restaurants, cafés and family entertainment venues placed around a new public square.
In addition, planning permission has been allowed for a hotel and outline planning consent has been obtained for a £180 million retail extension which will include improvements to transport links.
