Ocado has increased its retail revenue to £811.5 in the six months up to June 2nd. This is up from £736.6 million the previous year.
The number of active customers grew by 9.7% to 745,000. Its average hypermarket basket value was £108.04.
Group EBITDA was down from £34.3 million to £18.1 million. This was due to the Andover warehouse fire, which led to a 10% loss in capacity.
The company made a statutory pre-tax loss of £142.8 million, comparing to £13.6 million the year before.
