Takeover talks between William Hill and 888 Holdings have ended after the online betting platform rejected an offer from the UK’s biggest bookmaker.
Talks had been ongoing since February 10th, but have now been terminated after a “significant difference of opinion on value with a key stakeholder”.
Brian Mattingley, CEO of 888 Holdings, said: "The company is in good health and continues to trade comfortably in line with expectations.
The company will announce its full year results on 24th March and the board of the company looks forward to the future with confidence."
