Budget chain Primark is in talks to acquire Birmingham’s Pavilions shopping centre in order to turn it into a giant store, according to reports.

If the deal goes ahead, it could create Primark’s largest UK store at up to 200,000 sq ft.
As Primark has declined to comment, it is currently unknown how much of the centre will be acquired or how many of the incumbent retailers, including M&S, H&M and Waterstones, will be required to relocate if the deal goes ahead.
