Selfridges is set to begin a five year £300m revamp on its Oxford Street flagship store.
The work which is set to begin next month will be expanding Selfridges’ accessories department so that the handbag area will double in size.
Managing Director Anne Pitcher said: “We have the opportunity to create the world’s single biggest destination for accessories, with some of the world’s leading brands.”
Selfridges also plans to move its UK head office to Wigmore Street.
