It has been reported that after “several approaches” Sir Philip Green is considering selling department store chain BHS. The reports follow the news from Companies House that in 2013 BHS lost £69.6 million on sales, down 3.5% from the year before.
BHS was founded in 1928 in Brixton and is part of Sir Philip’s Arcadia Group.
An Arcardia spokesperson said: "We have had several approaches on BHS over the past few months. It is now the company's plan to explore whether any of these can be brought to a conclusion."
