It has been reported today (October 19) that stationery retailer Smiggle are opening at Woking shopping within Peacocks.
Smiggle, an Australian-based brand, now has 32 stores in the UK and plan to open eight more stores before Christmas. The new store at Woking shopping is due to open in November.
John Cheston, managing director of Smiggle, said: “We are delighted to be opening a store amongst very good company at Woking Shopping. The number of other great brands joining the destination was an encouraging factor to us in taking a store there and it is exciting to be part of such a thriving location.”
Adding his comment, asset manager of Peacocks, Tim Buckley of Moyallen, said: “Smiggle is a vibrant brand that will bring something new to Woking Shopping’s retail offer. The arrival of Smiggle, plus the wealth of other new brands at Woking over the past 12 months, shows how much confidence leading brands have in Woking Shopping, underlying its real sense of momentum.”
Joining Smiggle are other retailers such as Carphone Warehouse, Carluccio’s, Fat Face, Las Iguanas and Ed’s Easy Diner.
