The online leather sofa retailer is planning to open a 5,000 square foot showroom in London, following the successful launch of its Birmingham store earlier this year..
The retailer is looking to expand into the south east of England and then build its brand across the UK with a new store opening every 12 months.
Sofaland said the decision to open a store in London was due to research having shown that the majority visits to its website were from shoppers in the London area.
Managing director Michael Savva said: “We are delighted to announce our plans to open a new Sofaland store in London. It was always my intention to open another store in 2014 and due to the success of the Birmingham store which opened this year we are now in a position to push ahead with plans. This is a long term project. My intention is to open another store every 12 months across the UK.”
