The retailer Spar UK will be making a return to TV screens later this month as part of a £3 million media campaign.

Spar UK is currently running an updated Spar brand ad from 4th to 11th August. From 12th to 25th August the first of five new products and price adverts will then air focusing on alfresco eating.

Philippe Rondepierre, SPAR UK head of marketing, said: "The campaign has had a really positive impact so far, accelerating footfall growth and generating some incredible sales, such as a 47% increase in sales of our award-winning Prosecco in October."  

He added: “The product content in our tactical ads has been tailored to promote SPAR as a destination for top up shopping, reminding shoppers that we provide fresh food at outstanding value."
