Popular jewellery retailer Pandora has reported that it will be increasing its sales guidance for the second time this year.

Figures show that the Danish retailer saw revenue coming in at just under £40 million in the UK as they bought out a new range and opened nine new stores.

Ring sales did particularly well as figures show a 20% increase for the same time the previous year and group sales rose 25.8%.

President for Pandora in western Europe, Peter Anderson said: “While charm and bracelet sales were the foundations for the brand, we are now experiencing significant growth in rings, necklaces and earrings.”

Crossing all three regions, Asia, Americas and Europe, Pandora has seen its sales rise 35% with plans to take over its products in Macau, Philippines and Singapore.

New chief executive, Anders Colding Friis said: “What I find encouraging is that we see a very strong development in all regions and all products…It’s a good team effort,” adding “A combination of network expansion and strong like-for-like growth” is the key driver.”
