Superdrug launch 13 new stores over the summer

Superdrug is opening 13 new stores over the summer period.

It has launched stores in Glasgow, Chester, Liverpool and Leeds since June, and will also open eight stores in locations including Bolton, Newcastle and London.  It will also launch its first channel island’s store with an opening in Jersey.

The new stores will create 120 jobs in total, with the company already planning to open a further 14 stores before the end of the year, which will create another 150 jobs.

Nigel Duxbury, Superdrug property director, said; “We’re delighted to open more stores across the UK.  Our new stores are on high streets, shopping centres and retail parks ensuring that we are in the right place for the customers when they need health and beauty essentials and services.”
