The popular fashion retailer Superdry has signed up to the new £260 million Westfield shopping centre in Bradford, which will also be host to other retailers such as Topshop, New Look, H&M, M&S and River Island. The new Broadway shopping centre will see 2,500 new jobs and figures show that a 40% rise in footfall and 78% rise in spend will be an advantage.

Head of UK retail at Superdry, Claire Arksey said: “The Broadway, with its cutting edge design and double height frontages, is a great location for us.

“We look forward to welcoming customers to our new store in November where they will be able to experience the high quality and breadth of Superdry products.”

Director of leasing at Westfield, Keith Mabbett said:  “Superdry is an excellent addition to The Broadway and one that is a further vote of confidence in both The Broadway and Bradford in general. It demonstrates that the UK’s big name retailers are increasingly keen to come to Bradford.

“More than 80% of the floorspace at The Broadway is committed, and I look forward to announcing more exciting retailers before we open our doors to the public on Thursday 5th November.”
