Fashion brand Ted Baker’s first quarter revenue has risen almost 25% both in the UK and internationally as well as online.
CEO, Ray Kelvin said he was pleased with the reception of the brand’s spring/summer collections. Figures show that in the 18 weeks to June 6th store sales increased by 18.9%, which capitalised on demand by opening further store space including stores in Hong Kong, London and concessions in Asia, North America and Europe.
Further figures show that wholesale sales increased by 41.2% thanks to a strong performance in Britain and the USA.
In a statement, Ray Kelvin said: "The Ted Baker brand continues to perform very well and we have delivered further progress across our global markets and distribution channels.
“We are pleased with the performance of our Spring/Summer collections both in the UK and internationally, which is testament to our skilled and passionate team. Ted Baker has 414 stores and concessions around the world, having started off as a single shirt specialist in Glasgow. The company’s newest store additions include Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Middle East including Azerbaijan, Taiwan and Thailand.
