Tesco has entered into an agreement that will see it offload its loss-making US chain Fresh & Easy.
Tesco has agreed to sell 150 of its 200 Fresh & Easy stores to investment firm Yucaipa Companies, with approximately 4,000 of Fresh & Easy's 5,000 employees set to transfer to the new business.
The disposal is expected to cost Tesco some £150million.
