Over 2,000 Tesco.com customers have had their online accounts deactivated after their login details were shared online by hackers.
The supermarket said that the list had been drawn up by hackers who had combed through data stolen from other sites and tried the stolen login details on Tesco.com to see if any of them were the same. In total 2,239 people had used the same login details. We have contacted all customers who may have been affected and are committed to ensuring that none of them miss out as a result of this," Tesco said in a statement. “We will issue replacement vouchers to the very small number who are affected."
