A leading group of MPs have said the government needs to figure out how driverless cars will be presented onto UK roads.

According to the Commons Transport Committee, liability for crashes and how drivers are trained and licensed will need to be looked at and public safety fears will need to be assuaged.

A mixture of driverless, semi-autonomous and manual cars could be on UK roads well within the next ten years, yet key issues such as who is legally responsible in the event of an accident have yet to be resolved.
